The 6th Beijing International Children’s Off-Campus Education and Products Exhibition Venue
The 6th Beijing International Children’s Off-Campus Education and Products Exhibition (BJCEE) was held in the National Agricultural Exhibition Center. Constructed inn 1959, the National Agricultural Exhibition Center (NAEC) is one of the most famous ten building in the capital of People’s Republic of China. The site, scale, inner layout and style were all authorized by the prime minister Zhou Enlai. After the construction, NAEC successfully held more than 1,400 national and international exhibitions, covering a great variety of aspects including mechanical engineering, cars, agriculture, printing and packaging, electric energy, light industry, coals, aviation, environmental protection, petrochemicals, rubber materials, textiles, building materials, medical treatment and therapies, and security precautions, etc. NAEC is renowned in the field of exhibition and is recognized as one of the ten brand exhibition centers in China.
Located at the east third-ring in Chaoyang District, Beijing, NAEC is the center of the Central Business District (CBD). The neighboring area includes the embassy region, Yansha shopping mall and the thousands square meters of grassland in Chaoyang park. The pleasing natural environment, atmosphere of business district, cultural background as well as the convenient transportation all made the advantages of NAEC obvious.
The National Agricultural Exhibition Center takes up 43 hectares, and it has 10 buildings combining national features and western characteristics, with one large modern building. The indoor area is 20,000 square meters. In particular, the new building which was put into use in 2005 applied the construction of a vault. It has an indoor area of 13,000 square meters, an inner height of 16meters with a net height of 9 meters, 14 entrances and equipment for exhibition, which significantly simplified exhibition and negotiation. The outdoor area is 60,000 square meters, which could provide adequate site for large-scale exhibitions. In October 2013, a site of 18,000 square meters, a building of 11,000meters and conference buildings were put into use. The National Agricultural Exhibition Center included conference rooms, hotels and other exhibition equipment, and could satisfy the requirements of exhibitions and activities of different scales.
